Axel Rebien
Chief Executive Officer
Axel Rebien is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Serrala, a leading global innovator in financial software solutions that enable organizations to optimize their financial processes. Axel holds the overall responsibility for the strategic direction, operations, management, and performance of the company.
Before he was appointed as CEO in July 2023, Rebien joined Serrala’s Executive Board beginning of 2022 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), in which he has been driving the company’s financial strategies and finance-related processes including accounting, financial planning & analysis that deliver a return in business transformation.
Axel comes with a proven track record of leading fast-growing international organizations. Prior to Serrala, he held executive senior leadership positions at Unzer (CEO and CFO; formerly: heidelpay group), a fast-growing, innovative, and modular platform for international payments, PharmaSGP SE (healthcare and pharmaceuticals), and Tom Tailor Holding SE, where he successfully managed the 2010 IPO.
With more than 20 years of experience in executive roles, Axel Rebien demonstrated solid experience leading global finance operations and has a deep knowledge of the issues and opportunities facing our industry and its customers. His dynamic leadership, authentic hands-on attitude and visionary mindset are instrumental in driving Serrala’s continued growth and global influence.
Axel holds an MBA in Economics from Gottfried-Wilhelm-Leibniz-University, Hannover, and a Ph.D. in Political Science and Economics from the University of Chemnitz.

Rami Chahine
Chief Product and Technology Officer
Rami Chahine is Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) and a member of the executive management board of Serrala. Rami directs the product, technology, and IT functions while driving Serrala’s global advancements in technology and innovation.
Rami Chahine is a seasoned product executive with over 20 years of experience in driving technology roadmaps, from market analysis to global product launches. Known for his innovative and execution-oriented approach, Rami is passionate about building engaging products to increase market share. Before joining Serrala, Rami served as SVP of Products at Quadient, Chief Product Officer at Jahia Inc., and SVP of Product Management at Datawatch Corporation. His accomplishments include spearheading visionary product strategies, building teams for agility and high productivity, and achieving significant revenue growth through successful product execution.
Rami holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences of Berlin, Germany. Rami Chahine is based in Boston, USA.
Fabiola Enciso
Chief Marketing Officer
Fabiola Enciso is Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and a member of the executive management team at Serrala. She is responsible for creating and accelerating the company’s global marketing strategy, from brand recognition to demand and revenue growth.
Fabiola has 20 years’ experience in worldwide marketing and communications strategies in the SaaS, FinTech, and B2B space. She held various leadership roles for leading technology companies including HP, Sage and Dell, across multiple countries such as the U.S., UK, Ireland and Spain. Most recently, she served as Global Head of B2B Marketing for HP’s Printing business, leading transformative B2B marketing strategies to support key growth areas for the business.
Fabiola holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and a master’s degree in management from UCD Smurfit Business School. She is an investor and business advisor, and for many years, she has been an advocate for more Women and Girls in STEM and building Ethical Tech.
Fabiola is based in Barcelona, Spain.
Timo Engelhardt
Chief Financial Officer
Timo Engelhardt is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Serrala. As CFO, he serves as strategic advisor to the business and is responsible for leading Serrala’s global finance operations, including accounting, financial planning & analysis as well as procurement, legal and data protection.
Timo joined Serrala in March 2024, as Global VP of Controlling with a wealth of experience, with over 16 years in international M&A processes, financial analysis, and modelling. Timo built an impressive track record leading international teams for global acquisition and divestment projects of corporate and PE clients, with a focus on financial due diligence, for top consulting groups such as EY and PwC.
He is based in Hamburg, Germany.
Oliver Gallienne
Chief Operating Officer
Oliver is Chief Operating Officer and a member of the executive management team at Serrala. He is responsible for driving operational excellence across Serrala by defining and deploying an operating model rooted in customer-centricity.
Prior to this role, Oliver served as Chief Customer Success Officer, where he looked after global customer experience, and built high-performing consulting, support, and customer success teams.
Oliver brings outstanding experience in developing and growing services for on-premise as well as cloud customers to Serrala. Before joining us, Oliver was a member of the senior leadership team at OpenText, leading the professional services units worldwide where his responsibilities included building local and regional services units, executing acquisition integrations, and implementing new business models to drive growth and cloud transformation.

Alok Arora
Managing Director, India
Alok Arora serves as the Managing Director for Serrala India. In this role, he is responsible for advancing Serrala’s India Center of Excellence in alignment with the company’s global strategic objectives. Guided by Alok’s direction, this center of excellence is actively engaged in a visionary and inventive initiative to create our next-generation cloud-native enterprise products. Additionally, it aims to establish high-performing teams dedicated to providing outstanding onboarding and post-implementation support to Serrala’s customers.
Alok possesses over two decades of experience in financial services, product development, and technology consulting. During this period, he has accumulated significant expertise in nurturing and expanding global in-house centers. Before joining Serrala, Alok held key leadership positions at Acquia, a prominent digital experience company, and PRGX, a global leader in Recovery Audit and Spend Analytics. Additionally, he dedicated seven years of his career to diverse business and management roles at Infosys, a worldwide leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
Alok holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Pune and completed his business management education from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, in India. He is based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Patrick Cannon
Executive Vice President, North America
Patrick Cannon is the Executive Vice President for North America. As part of his role, he is leading all operations of the region and driving Serrala’s growth and expansion in this market, which includes executing go-to-market strategy, leading and growing the sales team, and securing strategic partnerships.
Patrick has over 25 years of experience in Senior Management roles in financial technology and an outstanding track record in taking high-growth companies to the next level and achieving revenue growth. Prior to joining Serrala, he was the Executive Vice President for the Reval and Treasura Product managing these business lines under the ION group. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Saint Joseph’s University.
He is based in Philadelphia, US.
Oliver Schröder
Executive Vice President, Europe, LATAM, and APAC
Oliver Schröder is Executive Vice President for EMEA, LATAM, and APAC, overseeing sales leadership and strategy across these key regions. With over 25 years of experience, Oliver plays a critical role in driving the company’s growth and market presence.
His experience covers software, service, and technology sectors, Oliver has an in-depth understanding of the SAP ecosystem, gained as an SAP Certified Consultant and his work at Contrast Management Consulting (a Ernst & Young company). His strategic insight and leadership have been pivotal in navigating complex market landscapes and fostering innovation in data and process management solutions.
Before joining Serrala, Oliver served as Regional Vice President Sales DACH at Celonis, where he was responsible for driving the emerging industries’ business expansion. He also held leadership positions at several prominent technology companies, including Informatica as Vice President Central Region and General Manager, and Oracle as Managing Director for Services.
Oliver holds a degree in Electronics Engineering and a master’s degree in business informatics.
He is based in Munich, Germany.
Matthias Mauser
VP Global Human Resources
Matthias is the VP of Global Human Resources and a member of the executive management team at Serrala. He is responsible for directing all strategic and operational activities of our people function, including Talent Acquisition, HR Services, Talent and Organizational Development, Health and Office Management.
Matthias joined us in 2022 as HR Director Learning & Development and has extensive leadership experience, including managing international HR teams at large companies in professional services and tech industry.
He is based in Hamburg, Germany.
