Sustainability / ESG

Responsibility across
our entire value chain

Serrala tracks its carbon footprint systematically, has the data independently verified every year, and is building credible climate targets step by step – verifiable, not just claimed.

Our approach

Three areas, one standard

Serrala aims for a consistently high standard across Environment, Social and Governance

Environment

Serrala tracks our carbon footprint in line with the GHG Protocol and have it independently verified by Auditel every year.

Social

A safe, fair working environment and responsibility across our supply chain – including our Modern Slavery Statement.

Governance

A compliance management system with clear policies, and regular external audits.

Serrala has been tracking our carbon footprint since 2023, continually refining our measurement methodology along the way including expanding our Scope 3 categories and improving data precision.

SBTi pre-assessment launched

Serrala is developing science-based reduction targets with interim milestones on the back of a Science Based Targets initiative pre-assessment.

Energy audit under
Section 8 EDL-G

A legally required energy audit with resulting efficiency measures at our sites.

Cloud instead of data-centre infrastructure

Migrating our IT to Microsoft Azure reduces the need for our own server infrastructure.

Mobility & commuting

A public-transport subsidy, bike leasing and hybrid working reduce commuting and travel emissions; our company fleet is being electrified step by step.

Social

Responsibility for our people and supply chains

Employee surveys

Serrala regularly surveys our workforce on engagement and satisfaction and use the results to drive continuous improvement.

Human rights in
the supply chain

Our Supplier Code of Conduct requires third parties to meet human rights and social standards.

Diversity

The number of women in management positions increased from 26 at the beginning of 2025 to 35 at year‑end, representing 25% of all management roles.

Community engagement

A structured partnership with the Hg Foundation and the Rotary Club Charitable Trust Bibwewadi Pune.

ESG matters to us because how we run this business matters –
to our people, our partners, our customers and the world we operate in.
