Serrala Appoints new Chief Financial Officer to the Executive Board

Dr. Axel Rebien will lead the global finance organization of the B2B fintech, Serrala, as Chief Financial Officer

Serrala, a global financial automation and B2B payments software company, announced the appointment of Dr. Axel Rebien as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2022.

In addition to leading Finance, Accounting, Legal, Human Resources and IT, Axel will serve as a financial and strategic business advisor to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the broader leadership team.

Axel brings substantial long-standing experience in heading fast-growing international organizations to the company to further accelerate growth and generate best-in-class results. He previously served as CEO and CFO at Unzer Group for 4 years, an innovative and modular platform for international payment transactions. Prior to his time at Unzer, he held CFO roles at PharmaSGP SE (healthcare and pharmaceuticals) and Tom Tailor Holding (retail fashion), where he successfully executed the IPO in 2010.
